(OIE), a “phytosanitary division of the World
Health Organization (WHO), agrees to this
principle, there are chances for Brazil to file a
noticeof contestation.
In2017,besidestheUnitedStates,theEu-
ropean Union is also the focus of Abiec’s at-
tention. According to Camardelli, the expec-
tation is for a resumption of the fresh meat
market in the United States and a bigger na-
tional share in the annual quotaof 64.8 thou-

of the area qualified to export beef, approval
